Black Cadillac

Black Cadillac
By 1961 the fender fin had just about run it's course.
It never ceases to amaze me that I drove, owned, and parallel parked, cars like this back in the day.
(I drove trucks too but that's another story.)
Even if I were given the chance I'd think twice about driving one of these now.

My 1960 Pontiac Bonneville in the late 60s

Any Swedish "raggare" would probably like to own this one.

My mum had a 63 BelAir that I drove all over town. I can't imagine trying to park that thing today. My Honda would fit in the trunk.

When I was a little, little kid...I drew bunches of cars with fancy fins!!! Don't ask me why...I don't have a clue!!!

I've seen kids who could skateboard on top of that trunk. We had a tiny Toyota Corolla in Alberta and it was terrific.

Back in the US tonight. Had a great week in Canada.
