By 1961 the fender fin had just about run it's course.
It never ceases to amaze me that I drove, owned, and parallel parked, cars like this back in the day.
(I drove trucks too but that's another story.)
Even if I were given the chance I'd think twice about driving one of these now.

My mum had a 63 BelAir that I drove all over town. I can't imagine trying to park that thing today. My Honda would fit in the trunk.
When I was a little, little kid...I drew bunches of cars with fancy fins!!! Don't ask me why...I don't have a clue!!!
I've seen kids who could skateboard on top of that trunk. We had a tiny Toyota Corolla in Alberta and it was terrific.
Back in the US tonight. Had a great week in Canada.
