West Dyke Trail

West Dyke Trail
On Thursday, being at a loss for anything to do, I took the bus to Steveston.
From there I walked the West Dyke Trail south to north.
A screwy construction detour probably turned a 90 minute walk into a two hour walk.
I saw lots of Richmond streets I'd never have seen otherwise.
That's not a good thing.

Nice sunny day for you. Are we going to see more of your walkabout?

The detour Kathy, not the trail. :-)

Pray tell...where did the detour take you???

If you don't know Richmond it wouldn't make sense. But the cul-de-sacs, dead ends and houses are much of a muchness. In other words, boring.

Not to mention, the detour signs were few and far between which probably caused me to have wander more streets than necessary.

At least you were not carrying clubs and whacking at a small white ball, and could concentrate on the walk itself. Looks like you covered a fair part of the city.

The curvature of that pathway really draws you in, it's hypnotic.
