What's wrong with this picture?

I think it's in my best interest to narrow this down to multiple choice:

A. there aren't enough cranes
B. there aren't enough freighters
C. it's just a crummy photograph
D. there is a cruise ship in Vancouver in January
E. all of the above

Obviously all are correct answers, but if you chose D give yourself a pat on the back.

The ship is almost certainly going to be Owe-lympic accommodation for, workers? visitors? the army? the secret police? the Jamaican bobsled team? Zamboni drivers? Who knows?

I take it you don't like cruise ships.

I knew cranes and freighters were waiting in the wings. It was just a matter of time.

PS Hey, I finally got the Owe-lympic thing! :)

I'm partial to freighters.

Mo, from May to September the Alaska cruise ships swarm Vancouver. But for the rest of the year we don't see any so I was surprised to see this one.

I'm partial to freighters too, but I suppose we've already established that.

I think I'd heard about some extra housing happening via cruise ship ... why not ... not prime cruise season and those ships are expensive, not to mention the recent downturn in their business. Seems like a good idea to me.

It's refreshing to view local photos taken by a local with differing or similar perspectives.
