Foggy Morning

Late Sunday morning it became very foggy. I went for a walk, and that isn't easy at the moment, to see what I might be able to photograph.

I walked a couple of miles but this shot is from a few streets away in the cemetery. It looks sort of blue-gray but I haven't done anything to alter the colour.

This is a beautiful shot. I love it even if it does look cold.

That is so atmospheric, it's really beautiful. I'm glad I'm looking at it from the warmth of my house though!

Check out my blog tomorrow to pick up an award :)

W,
You already know what I think about this one but I'll say it again. Spectacular. One, if not your best, in my humble opinion. I have a bare tree fetish so I am partial, but it really is wonderful. Now don't get the big head on us.

I can't imagine Vancouver with this much snow. This picture has a powerful cold stillness. Stay warm, Best wishes for a happy 2009.

For the record, I had 3 or 4 possible pics I could have used today. Because I really didn't know which I ought to use I sent them all to Virginia who made the final decision. I can't really tie my own shoes either.

V. there is absolutely no danger of me getting a big head over anything, especially my photography.

Thanks for all your kind comments.

Lovely. I have a couple of similar shots taken during our recent mini-snowstorm. Mysterious...
