Old Technology

Taken with my SLR while my DSLR was out of commission.

I expect this is the last roll of print film I ever buy. The results were costly and disappointing.

I hope, I will make such a dissapointed picture because I sure love the way you captured the reflection.

Oh quit whining. This is a gorgeous photograph!! I love the colors too. Buy more film would be my recommendation.

When cameras had film, I took lots of pictures but never got them developed. Something to do with delayed gratification and waning interest, I guess.

Fishing for compliments again, eh, Wayne???

Well...here goes!!! Love the reflection, the lighting, the juxtaposition of the two buildings with the reflections in them....you artistic devil you!!!

The only problem with film is you can hardly find it anymore to buy it!!! Then you have to go through all that processing expense, or douse yourself with chemicals while doing it yourself, and then of course, you have to figure out how to get digitized so you can send it out into the ethers so all of us can oooou and ahhhh over it!!! (But then, you seem to have done all of that just fine!!!)

Disappointing to whom?
This shot is stellar. Costly perhaps, but what an image!

The rest were worse Jenny :-)

Thanks for the positive input ladies.

Film is cheap enough but the processing is hideously expensive.

I'm into instant gratification too Karin.
