Beaver Lake

Same spot as yesterday. According to information posted around the lake it will eventually transition to meadow or forest. I got this shot just in the nick of time, another 50 years and I'd have been too late.

The day after I took this there was a story on the six o'clock news about the lake. For the first time in years there is actually a beaver in residence and it's causing some minor problems by trying to dam up the lake. There is a lodge there somewhere but I didn't see the beaver.
