Queen Anne

This little house in Strathcona is a work in progress for the owners. It's more than 100 years old and was built on a 25' lot, 33' lots are more the standard in Vancouver. At one point in it's history the architectural detail was removed or covered with asbestos tile siding.

This one is worth enlarging to get a closer look at the restoration of the details.

What a great job they've done. I love their color choices and I am sure there are untold hours of tedious renovation work here. It's alike a little playhouse! I'd move in tomorrow!

It looks like a doll house to me.

Talk about ornate. This little place is certainly punching above it's weight. It's almost edible with it's icing sugar frosty colouring.
