On certain days of the week cruise ship traffic is fairly hectic around Canada Place and Ballantyne Pier. Last Saturday I counted at least 4 ships at berth. They leave one after the other around dinner time.

Ship Ahoy!
On certain days of the week cruise ship traffic is fairly hectic around Canada Place and Ballantyne Pier. Last Saturday I counted at least 4 ships at berth. They leave one after the other around dinner time.

Free Parking
Alaska bound cruise ships park in the berths at Canada Place daily from May to October. The rest of the year the berths are usually open.
Canada Place which includes the Pan Pacific Hotel, the trade an convention centre, an office complex and an Imax Theatre was designed to resemble a ship, complete with sails.
That's the end of my trip downtown which began at Cambie and 33rd on January.1
