A Botched Job

Jungle Umbrella
This is a poorly executed shot.
a) I wasn't set up to shoot in the street and had a 24mm lens on the camera.
b) The DOF was very shallow and the exposure was wrong.
c) I was trying to be stealthy.
An utter failure on all counts.
That's why I kept it.

I thought it was funny how she caught you in the act.

Yep, evidently not too stealthy. :-)

But a good one for your umbrella book.

Sorry Wayne but the smile in the corner makes it a keeper. Very nice.

Love the smile on the face we can see. Umbrellas are some of my favorite images. I am always afraid to take photos of Moslem women, even in stealth. Allah doesn't like it!

Had you asked them for a few portraits they would have said yes.
