It's been dampish for the past couple of Chinese New Year parades.
It doesn't seem to keep the crowds away or dampen anyone's enthusiasm.
(these aren't very sharp images, I was struggling with low light, wide open apertures, yada, yada …)

A very colourful display of culture.
They seems to celebrate it over the whole world. For certain in the Netherlands. Thanks to your sharp picture I see that one of the chinese girls is in reality a girlfriend who loved to walk in a colorful costume like these.
The colors are striking—beautiful people on the march. Neat blog too.
Love your angles!
i think they look very good!
they celebrated here too, yesterday, but i missed most of it.. :( will post a pic one day or the other but they for sure arent as nice as yours!
I love the second shot Wayne!!! The little girl in the middle absolutely drew me in!!! Her smile is delightful...and the color...wow!!!

yeah it was. great shots!
Not sharp enough? Why I can see the blemishes beneath the girl's make-up in the first picture. She'd probably like a little less focus. But I think these are wonderful captures, full of life and colour and stilled motion.
(I chickened out of facing the dragons/parade due to rain and crowds. Glad you brought back the goods to your blog).
Wonderful close ups and colours.
