It's a hand-held shot at a high ISO (800 I think) V.

Wow, looks like peasants with pitchforks. I'd probably get back to the city proper in a hurry. The low POV is very effective, something I usually fail to consider.

I always thought of winter solstice celebrations as beautiful young women with white diaphanous gowns swirling about them...this is a quite different picture!!!
