Ho Hum

I'm not going to pretend I'm suddenly interested in hockey.

On Sunday morning I went to London Drugs to buy my bus pass.

I knew the hockey game was on but I was surprised more people weren't riveted to the TV screens in the electronics department.

Most people, I suppose, were either on their sofas, at a bar, or in the arena.

U.S vs. Canada was the gold medal game almost everyone hoped for and tickets were the big 'get' of the Olympics along with figure skating. For months, years even, we've been hearing of prime seats going for thousands of dollars.

My brother and nephew were walking by GM Place on Sunday morning and someone gave them two tickets in the sixth row behind the net.
