A few years ago there was a big (suspicious) fire at the vacant Woodlands School. It looks like this might be a section that escaped the fire. In fact it's the only part the the main building to escape destruction. I was too lazy to look over the hill but I've found this out through photos taken by photographers more intrepid than myself.
There are horrific stories of abuse associated with Woodlands. It was a government run institution for abandoned kids, kids with disabilities, 'retarded' kids. Some of the buildings were built in the late 1800s.

Now I'm glad you were too lazy to climb the hill. That's creepy. From here it looks like a scene from England or Scotland.

Abuse stories not withstanding, the school building is more impressive because of what you didn't include.
