The Drop is a fine addition to the plaza at the new Vancouver Convention Centre.
The manufacturers of The Drop have provided an interesting photo documentary on the creation of the piece. Even those completely uninterested in how it was made should get a chuckle by scrolling to the last photo on their site.

My first thought wasn't a DROP, but a rather skinny ear syringe. Art is in the eye (ear) of the beholder I guess.
