A bit of excitement on Spanish Banks Sunday afternoon. The Coast Guard hovercraft navigated through scores of waders to deliver a stretcher case to a waiting ambulance.

This looked like great fun until I read your caption.
Wellllllll, since you mentioned it Karin, there was a parade, two actually. I didn't put photos on the blog. I sense a degree of parade burn-out (or envy) among the ranks. We had a big thunder/lightning storm during the event on Saturday night. Quite unusual for Vancouver.
