I've been fond of this house since I stumbled upon it years ago. It must have qualified as a 'grand' house when it was built, situated on a corner lot with a turret and all.
Many heritage home owners go to some lengths to ensure their houses are painted in the original colours determined by specialists who scrape away decades of paint. I don't know if this is an authentic colour but it's feels right to me.
Wow, that's a very interesting perspective of the Princess Avenue!
It is my first time visiting your blog, but it looks fantastic. I hope you will visit our daily photo site at http://www.budapestdailyphoto.com or http://www.singaporedailyphoto.com. Feel free to leave some comments too!
I think you're right about the colors. Very nice and what a lovely job of restoring this lovely place. Wonder what the turret rooms are used for? Any idea?? V
