This is a common style of house in a some Vancouver neighbourhoods.
This one is rather unique for a couple of reasons. The attention to detail is not all that common and I haven't noticed a door like that on this style of house before.
Well the house is cute as a button but I'm going out on a limb and say that the door is not of the same period. Doesn't fit somehow. LOVE the color. Is it on the same street with the little green one you showed us earlier?? V
That is a beauty and your photographs are quite excellent...the color against the white background sets off the house perfectly. I also noted those wonderful reflections in the windows.
Not very different to the houses here in Auckland other than the colour. Most houses here are painted white, off white or perhaps a very, very light pale blue. No imagination ..... :)
