There was an inch or so of snow in the city and, no doubt, lots more on the mountains. Just for something different I decided to post a close up-ish kinda shot. I can't tell one tree from another but my best guess is Western Red Cedar.
The snow should be gone in a flash.

I love the clash of green 'foliage' and white snow, it looks like icing sugar! :)
Btw, did you know that we call the 'Western Red Cedar', in Germany the 'Huge Tree-of-Life' or sometimes Huge Thuja?
This is a really nice close-up'ish' shot, Wayne! :-) Tree branches with snow allways look beautiful.
If i didn't know better, and I do know better, I would think you climbed up in that tree to get that shot! HA

A nice dusting that will be gone in a flash, as it should be in your part of the world.
I don't know what tree it is either, but it's certainly impressive.
