Cold and Wet

Yesterday I stood at various intersections in the vicinity of Granville and Broadway hoping to get a decent photo of either umbrellas or those snazzy patterned gumboots that I seem to see everywhere when I'm not taking pictures.

I gave up on the project when I noticed I was starting to freeze my #*&! off.

The day's effort was narrowed down to three photos. My producer/manager chose this one. Quelle surprise!

Amazing what you can't find when you look for it:)

However, this brolly receives high marks!

Wayne, this is my all time favorite of your photos. I love it! What a great composition.

(By the way -- it's going to be 81 in LA today...)

Laurie, as much as it pains me, I have to confess that this would have been a very ordinary shot with no composition if it hadn't been run by my producer/manager.

Gawd, I hated doing that and no I don't feel better and there aren't going to be any raises either.

Thanks for all your positive feedback.
