A departing Seabus left a nice wave pattern but the real attraction is sitting on the beacon pole.
I've rarely walked all the way around Canada Place but last Tuesday was a great day for it.
It isn't exactly rare to see eagles in town but I doubt anyone takes it for granted.

What an amazing picture!
Oh wow, how lucky to see such a beautiful bird!
Stunning creature and great shot Wayne. I first saw one of these majestic creatures at a park on the river in Ladner about 14 years ago and I've never forgot the sight.
That eagle with the mountains as the backdrop is a showstopper for sure. I'm humming "God Bless America", I guess you'll want to hum your own tune.

PS Fork over my whopping 60% !
Look at that beautiful eagle! WHen we were in Alaska several years ago, I just couldn't get over the fact that eagles would sit on telephone poles the way pidgeons do, here. Of course, bears foraged for things like our squirrels. Alaska is amazing that way.
Beautiful shot, Wayne. Majestic!
(You better pay Virg!)
Oh my goodness, what a great capture! My husband thought he saw an eagle when we were on the Isle of Harris in the Hebrides, but as I was driving round a clifftop road at the time I thought I'd better not look but keep my eyes on the road!
Very lovely, I first didn't catch what you were refering to. He looks majestic, even just sitting there like that. :)
Wow, I've never seen one of those before.

Pretty impressive scene and great shots. Funny to see them in such an urban area.
