Winnipeg #2

Train is boarding in 5 mins. Here is a quick shot of the Fort Garry Hotel. I checked the Environment Canada website and the temp. was forecast to get to -40º to -45ºC with the wind chill. It's currently -29ºC out of the wind.

I heard through the grapevine that Victoria had 30 cm of snow which usually means Vancouver had snow as well.

I was looking forward to having a look around Winnipeg so I guess I'll have to come back one day.

I'm really enjoying your 'from the train' series, and the glimpses of Canadian winter.

I think I need to put on another sweater after looking at this picture! :)

Intolerable! We whine if it gets much below 0 C. It's all relative, of course, but is this why come Canadians, like Canada geese, fly south for the winter?

just stopped to tell you it will be 70F here on Thursday. Maybe you need to fly south for the winter Wayne!
