NGC

A number of Ottawa's significant buildings can be seen from Parliament Hill. Above is the National Gallery of Canada where I spent Friday morning. To the right of the gallery is Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica.

Below is a view across the Ottawa River with the Museum of Civilization just to the left of centre at the edge of the river. The river is starting to freeze up.

This is a nice pair of shots. We're getting some of the white stuff out here as well.

The photos really need to be enlarged, all the different architectural styles and details deserve to be seen. Despite the cold, as I said before, everything looks wonderful in white.

I could get lost in these great shots, Wayne. I'm still so captivated by snowy scenes, since I've only ever lived in Texas and California.

What great works did you see in your museum trek? And The Museum of Civilization? I am off to google that right now...
