Jasper

I'm not allowed to dawdle on the platform while the train is serviced. But I got a couple and quick and dirty shots. The only one that looked half decent was this one. For those curious about train travel in Canada I'll try to do a little better in future.

My camera isn't really up to taking low, low, light shots but I took the pic below in Kamloops at about 0600.

One more in Jasper, no extra charge.

I'm just going to ignore the usual posting schedule and post the trip pics as I'm able.

Brrr. Looks very cold. Good time to be in a warm well-appointed train car enjoying the ever-changing view, a new place each morning, adventure, mystery. So you didn't get to spend any time at JNP? Were you able to see the glacier? Are you headed toward Calgary or Edmonton?

Just got to add my plaudits to everyone elses with special congratulations for traveling through one of the most spectacular mountain ranges on earth without posting a single photo of a mountain. But for something different, next time you get off the train, turn around facing away from the train and then take a picture.
