Orange Cranes

The container cranes are endlessly fascinating to me.

I like them because they're big, they're orange and they always have the mountains in the background. Trust me, the mountains are there.

To get this pic I wandered into a parking lot that has been closed other times I've been by. When I turned to leave I saw this graffiti.

I'm on a train trip to Toronto but I'll be checking in whenever I have internet access. Back 12/16/08

I don't think I've ever seen positive graffiti like that...I like those cranes, too, and once took pictures of similar models when in Seattle years ago.

I love that graffiti so much. Seriously, that is so great! My favorite graffiti has always been a great one from the 80s in Hollywood. It was on a wall off Hollywood Blvd. and it said "Agnes Moorehead is God!"

Indeed.

Wayne, I like containers, too. I find them kind of melancholy though. But I'm weird like that.

Re. the positive graffiti, I wonder what they'll write when the pot wears off! ;)

I hope Santa brings you a darn crane and a tractor so you can move on to another obsession. I hate to think what. Are you having fun? Behaving? Do you miss us yet?????
