Bay Windows

Keeping with the fall theme I'm including a pic of this pumpkin coloured building in Strathcona. By describing it as pumpkin coloured I'm exhibiting a personal bias. It may be more like butternut squash coloured but I love pumpkin pie, I don't eat squash. Ugh!

This photo was the happy result of my taking a detour from the route I had planned. Next to these buildings I discovered the small Rediron Studio and Gallery here on East Georgia St.

The gallery had a show of super photographs of early Vancouver houses in the neighbourhood taken by Louise Francis-Smith

Not a color I would think to paint a house but, somehow is works.

Waht a great house. IT's definitely butternut squash but we'll cut you some slack being as you're a guy!

Love that mustard yellow!

Thanks for the tip on the McCord. Chose to spend the day around St. Paul street with a late afternoon hike up to Parc du Mont Royale.

We're on the train to New York, now, just stopping in Albany at the moment.

Love the brightly painted buildings. & this one is pretty and not garrish. Your pumpkin color theme is sooo apropriate.

Beautiful colour for a building. But they need to paint it green come springtime :-)

That looks great! Personally I prefer butternut squash to pumpkin. Either way though, the house looks fun.
