Blue

The bridge at the foot of Main St. crosses over the rail yard, part of which was shown in Backside. The incline must be considered too steep since ramps were incorporated.

CRAB Park at Portside (Create A Real Available Beach) is on the other side of the bridge so it does get a fair amount of foot traffic.

In earlier days the Canadian National Steamship Terminal was located here. The building didn't seem to get a lot of use by the time I was aware of it and I don't think I ever saw inside but I was always a bit awestruck by it.

I've Googled and Googled and cannot find a picture of it. But I haven't given up. I'm on a quest.

Ilove the blue and white but am puzzled about the
"bumps". Why am I always so clueless??? They look like those things on rock climbing walls. Do they help or cause clutzes like me to trip?

Virginia, you don't come close to fitting the into the clueless category.

I can't say for sure, but the rocks poured in concrete look like one of those afterthoughts. It looks like one of those cases where they install plants or what have you and the vandalism forces a vandal proof solution.

How's that for making up an answer on the fly?

Wow, Wayne, these blues are fantastic! You're rooting for my university's basketball team? (It's our color and we're going up against the green guys — our arch rivals — in the finals which start tomorrow!)
