With her turquoise roof and smooth lines this is the boat I picture when I think of Chris Craft. When I was a kid I would try to draw these boats from memory. Who knows why, I think I just thought they were 'neat'.
This Chris Craft is to boats what the '56 and '57 Chevy is to cars, an all-time classic.
Owners: Lyn and Russ Tretiak
Built: 1956 in Michigan
Length: 35'

When I was a kid, I got to tour the Chris Craft factory. My parents were thinking of buying one. They never did, but I do remember to boat and factory tour.
When I saw the first photo, my thoughts were of a 56 Chevy! Must be the color. These boats are incredible to see if only through your photos.
Oh, how I love Chris Craft boats. This turquoise one is too wonderful.
I had a smaller version of this boat. I think mine was about 16" long and ran on "D" cell batteries. I remember sailing her in my plastic swimming pool many, many years ago. Cool boat and distant memories. :)
Chuck, that sounds like a collector's item. I assume you still have it and all those other childhood toys, with the original box intact.
Yeah, me neither.
This is much prettier than any oat in my harbour. Like the nagle on that top shot.
