Urban Wildlife

Coyote (not a healthy specimen)
 Coyotes (pronounce it however you like, I don't care) are a common enough sight in various parts of town.
This mangy guy is one of a pair that spend a lot of time in the cemetery.
I don't try to get close to them but he was about 20 or 30 feet from me and not much bothered.

Saying the English word in Swedish and spelling it as it sounds would be Kajotis.

I remeber seeing them at the end of our alley in Kerrisdale, when we lived there. Beautiful shot!

That guy must be use to people. We can't get within half a mile of the coyotes that live around here. But they the country cousins and have good reason to avoid people. Fine and unusual photo.

I don't think it's mange; I think he's shedding his winter coat.
