Soldiers On Horseback

Communities For Veterans has set out on an ambitious project.

They are crossing Canada on horseback to raise awareness of issues Canadian soldiers face returning to civilian life.

The first leg of the trek on the mainland was a ride with the VPD Mounted Unit through Stanley Park last Tuesday.

The purpose of our ride is to shine a light on our Canadian Veterans who have made many sacrifices for the greater good, and yet live invisible among us. Canadians need to know what the veterans living quietly in their communities have done for our country and many other countries as well.
