Beaver Lake is a pretty reliable spot to get a bucolic sort of landscape-ish image.
There actually is a beaver lodge on the lake (and it's a general nuisance as far as I can tell).
Hard to believe maybe, but the walk to downtown from here is only half an hour or so.
