B+W

About 30 years ago I had my Canon AE-1 stolen on a train from Milan to Nice.
I don't have any pictures of Nice or whatever came after on that trip.
Insurance replaced the Canon with a Minolta Maxxum 7000i (my choice) which had a lot more bells and whistles.
The Minolta still works fine although it sat untouched for more than 10 years.
Lately I often lug it around with me but I rarely actually photograph with it.
For me the nostalgia of the whole film thing doesn't actually outweigh the nuisance.
I only pay to have the film developed with the idea that I'll do the scanning and printing.
My part of the job can be time consuming and frustrating.
It won't surprise me if the camera soon goes back in the closet for another 10 years or more.

I have been enjoying your archived photos of late. I am surprised that some people still use film cameras nowadays.
