I'm rather surprised by the number of Deelite bikes I see.
The brand would have been sold by Vancouver's Fred Deeley and I'm guessing they weren't marketed too far afield.
It will have been many decades since they were actually sold new and I was completely unaware of them then (maybe the 60s and 70s).

Nope, can't say that I've ever seen that brand name down here in the lower 48.
This is a new brand for me. With care and maintenance bikes will last forever. Giant Bicycle manufactured bikes for many private brands. Enjoyed your photos of the farrier shoeing the horse.
Not much of a bike connoisseur but I'll take RevRunner's position...haven't seen it!!! Love the photo!
No, these bikes would not have made it to the States with this label on them but they could have been branded for a different company.
The farrier was fun to photograph.
