This trim and tidy house is one of many, many similar houses built in 1950/60s Vancouver.
Let's hope it has a long life and doesn't fall victim to Vancouver's real estate insanity.
The awning is one of those home improvement items that seemed to come along each decade or so.

My parents have one of those awnings - black and white though.
Remember seeing those awnings on some houses.
Very similar to houses built in Toronto suburbs in the same era.
