24mm

Hastings St., Sunday Afternoon
I have a nice wide angle lens but it's rare for me to walk around with it.
A Sunday in August was one of those rare days.

That glass above the Scientology sign throws a body warming reflection on the sidewalk directly opposite during part of the day. I've stood there a few times on a cold winter day just to warm my bones. After about 15 minutes you're cooking.

… and after 20 minutes you're a Scientologist. :-)

Wayne, you should walk around with your wide-angle lens more. Love the pattern the wires above the street make. Excellent photo.

Yes, I agree, do more of this wide angle shooting in 2014. Happy New Year!

Wide angles are lots of fun. Just don't take into the place on the corner.

Not me Wayne and they weren't there back in the 70's. Seeing that my wife is an Italian Catholic that's the church I'd be going to and maybe someday I will.

Interesting picture!

A friend gave me a very old, from the 70s, 24mm, f/2.8, lens, and every time I use it, I marvel at how different the world looks all of a sudden.
