For whatever reason I don't explore New Westminster very often.
It's a historic city and came 'thisclose' to being the capital of British Columbia.
Instead, politicians of the day chose to put the capital on an island in the Pacific Ocean.

Like the old facade still working so to see.
To protect themselves from their constituencies.
For me, this building is a blast from the past. They don't make them like this anymore.
PS: They still make politicians like the used to. ;)
