Warm San Franciscan Nights
I went for a one hour walk this evening but didn't have enough oomph to use the tripod and try anything ambitious.
So just for fun I'm posting a bunch of stuff I shot with the ISO cranked up and the aperture wide open.
It's easy to find something to photograph in SF.

With photos like this you should go without your tripod more often.
I'm still puzzling over that third photograph.
Nice shots Wayne. I agree with Andy. Perhaps you don't need a tripod.
The 3rd photo is just a long series of lit columns on the outside of some sort of expensive looking restaurant. :-)
Thanks for the comments. :-)
My favourite kind of photos--spontaneous, unpremeditated, off the cuff.Lots of good atmosphere.
Andy has it right - great shots, all of them!
It looks like you had a fun and inspiring walk.
Some fine takes here.
Wonderful series of spontaneous shots and very creative. Thanks for the settings you used. May try that soon.
Nice shots! I especially love the one of the bridge...
