Anime

DSC_5852
I happened on an Anime (pronounced: ani-may) Convention in Seattle a couple of years ago.
If not for that I'd be completely clueless about the phenomenon.
With Anime Revolution in Vancouver I had lots of photo ops.
The dressing up as characters is called cosplay.
It may not be obvious but these girls have contact lenses the same colour as their wigs.

I'm the guy who takes the pictures of the people who all take the same picture as the person next to them.
It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.

Wayne you got two very colourful characters to pose for the #1 photographer in Vancouver. Way too go! I personally like photographing photographers... but I have never seen so many in one spot before. There sure is a variety of cameras out there.

And you do that job well.

An interesting study. I noticed some are choosing a vertical format while others remain with the horizontal.
