Most folks who have cruised probably know this scene.
In ports that can't accommodate large vessels passengers go ashore in tenders (lifeboats).
This was taken in 1981 off some Greek Island or other.

On a visit to Anti-Paros back in the mid 1980s it was so windy that no ferry could get to and from the island for one week, wer were supposed to go home but had to stay another week.
