Karma

Electric
You don't see too many of these around town although there is a dealer here.
The Fisker Karma is an electric car with a back-up generator for extra range.
I think you'd be lucky to drive one off the lot for anything less than $100,000.00.
Saving the planet isn't going to be cheap.

Yes there must be something to get the consumer on electric cars besides a reach of 60 km before you have to load up again.

Tough job--saving the world--but someone's got to do it. :-)

Why on earth would it be so expensive? Doesn't sound much like it's truly saving the planet.

These cars are great looking and have amazing sports car performance. We don't have them in the Midwest, at least not yet.

Because "saving the planet" not about saving the planet, but about the corporations making money. Apparently if you have enough money you can *believe* you are "saving the planet" as it appears that too has become big business. (IMHO :)

The US government loaned Fisker money...that right there should tell you Fisker is a losing proposition...
