Sikh Celebration

_DSC6949
Saturday was Vaisakhi day in my neighbourhood.
The parade must cover 4 or 5 miles and a lot of people walk the whole thing.
From the time they leave Ross Street Temple until they get back must take 6 hours or more.
The parade stops a lot.

Neat shot Wayne. I'm not sure if he is giving you the evil eye or what.

Wow! Excellent shot with all the colours and movement around the stillness of that direct, impassive gaze.

Great color in your photo. Sounds like an interesting parade.

6 hours of parade is quite long...

Capturing that face is exquisite! I read so many expressions into it, so many feelings. Mostly sadness...

Good shot, good DOF. We've been to a Sikh temple or two in India. No stepping on bugs.
