Market Street Railway

_DSC8676
It can get foggy in San Francisco but this isn't fog.
It's vapour from a steam vent on Market Street.
Whenever I'm here, and it seems to be quite often lately, I take lots of pictures of the historic streetcars.

Except for everyone in modern attire it would remind me of pictures of "the old world" - Europe. I grew up near Boston and got a chance to see a lot of these "streetcars." We called them Trolleys, and I think they were a different shade of "orange"... Love the shot!

Great steam effect with the people milling about in front of the steamcar.
