Macarons

Macarons
We now have a real French Bakery in Vancouver.
If we had one before I never stumbled upon it and I have a nose for these things.
I find macarons very photogenic but not very appetizing looking.
It might change my mind if I tried one ...
... peut-être.

And someone went to a lot of trouble to display them in such an attractive way.

Perhaps it is also a bit of a color question. Some colors look more tasty then others. I personal doesn't really like purple and soap greeny food. But nice photo and who knows they taste good.

Wayne, the patterns and colors are terrific. I would have to sample one or a dozen of these before I would hazard an opinion on taste.

Ooops, it sounds like I'm not as au courant as I thought I was. This little bakery is on Kingsway at Broadway. It's only been there for about 6 months. Thanks Bev.

I've had divine ones and others that were dry, awful things. These look pretty good. Great shot!

You must try one Wayne ... Preferably salted caramel. It should have a slight crunch to the bite then soft and delicious inside but make sure you eat it slowly and savour the delicate flavours and textures. Gorgeous photo!

You really did it with this one Wayne!!! Fabulous shot...the colors...the composition...the lighting...the clarity!!! Wonderful! (I love how you're using your prime lens!) As for the taste...dunno...I've never had one...but I've heard the salty caramels and the ones with lavender in them are to die for!!!
