These are beautiful horses. The look too big to be Asian. Perhaps they are Arabians which are noted for their speed and stamina? Would be interesting to find out about them.
When I asked this morning I was told they were hired for weddings. Since there is usually a bit of a language breakdown I'm going to guess special occasions in general.
