Down On The Farm

Sunday Feature, Another Place, Another Time

I was 19 in the fall of 1969 when I went out to Saskatchewan to help my uncle with the harvest..
Even back then his equipment wasn't state of the art, it was what he could afford.
Here he is pulling a mower with a rake behind it.
That Allis-Chalmers was the first tractor I can remember driving.

The Vancouver posts are on autopilot while I'm travelling

Near Fonehill, Sask, 1969
