I asked an elephant driver how many elephants there were at the Amber Fort.
120 was the reply.
Seems like a lot of elephants, but it's probably the case.
They were certainly trunk to tail shuttling tourists up to the fort.
I walked up, carefully.

What a make-up job!
Elephants are such great animals. They usually put up with us humans with good humor, and seem to enjoy performing. Unfortunately there is a disease going through U.S. circus elephant populations. Hope it is unknown in India.
