In The Gardens

_DSC0243
Until recently I didn't have any interest in macro (close-up) photography.
I find I enjoy it but I'm still trying to figure it out.
My biggest challenge is getting some part of the subject in focus.
I have no idea what we're looking at here but I like the contrast.

And I like that you didn't do a flower. Well done Wayne.

Pretty good for a guy that's still learning. Keep on clicking.

I, too, find macro challenging. I think that this is a terrific shot.

Well done Wayne!!! Macros are my new passion...and yes...love weeds, budding branches, flowers...it's fun experimenting!!! I don't have a macro lens yet, but it's on my list!!!

Cathy, from PiecesofContentment.blogspot.com, shared that she uses a Raynox DCR 250 super macro conversion lens...but it can only fit on a 52mm-69mm filter size...check out Cathy's May 11, 2012 post to see what she says about the lens...and see some of her magnificent macros!!!
