I have seen some in Washington State but even more in Vancouver and on Victoria island. They were brightly painted and the locals liked to encourage people to take photos of them.
Hey, I must have just missed you that day! Obviously one of the rare ones when it wasn't raining. Have you noticed the mini tree growing out of the hat at the very top of the totem? A real feather in his cap.

If I noticed the tree Lynne I've already forgotten. I took that shot a couple of months ago. The weather was quite nice I think.
