very blue. but i just dont understand what this is. a stilt house? something arty? thanks for the word wonky... perhaps i can incorporate it in a sentence today... :D
some of my favorite photos were "oops-I forgot to set the white balance!!!"
I just recently met with a friend of mine to be tutored on Lightroom...my files had gotten out of control and I couldn't find a thing, and my photos were disconnecting from the files...etc, etc... She was great...taught me her method of file importing/organization! She recommended D-65's Lightroom Workbook...Work Flow, not Work Slow Love the ease of working with LR...but just couldn't get the organization down!
Trust me Wayne...if you can't take a class in LR...get either the book in my previous comment or Scott Kelby's and really study and work with the organizational components...it will make life much easier down the road...when you've racked up zillions of photos and want to find that special one!!!
Been there done that. Set it for tungsten and then go outside? Maybe , maybe not. I think it's cool but it's going to fall over before you get the WB figured out W. I love going along to class with you. tee hee. V
That looks pretty cool. I especially like the blue neon-y cast on the legs of the... whatever that thing is. :)
I'm the guy who randomly approached you when you were taking pictures off Canada Place a couple months ago, by the way. Kept meaning to drop in here and look at some of your stuff - very nice!
Where are you taking classes, by the way? I took Basic and Intermediate at Focal Point a few years back, and I'm thinking of maybe taking their street photography course sometime this year.

If we could paint our homes with software it would be a perfect world.
I agree with you. Beautiful colors. But also a nice subject to capture.
Why did I immediately start singing, "Leaning on the everlasting arms"?

Organization?
I've always felt I needed to take a class in Lightroom. But one thing at a time.
Thanks for the comments.

Hi Graham, I remember. Thanks for stopping by.
I'm taking Intermediate at Langara. It's walking distance from my place.
Ahh, nice. I've heard good things. Focal Point is actually a spinoff from Langara, itself.
UNIQUE !
Love it!
