Loads Of Lumber

This is a small sampling of the vast amounts of B.C. lumber used in the finishing of the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre, West Building.
It's impossible to gloss over the exorbitant cost of the building ($893,0000,0000,00), but there is no arguing that this must be one of the most impressive convention centres anywhere.
I posted other images of the VTCC when it first opened.

How many trees died to build that convention centre? It is gorgeous though.
